Room contingents are available and can be booked under Zimmerkontingente-DGG2026. Early hotel reservations are strongly recommended. (e.g. https://www.stadt-muenster.de/tourismus/uebernachten)

The room contingent will be reduced to 25% of the reserved rooms 8 weeks before the conference. No further rooms can be booked from the room contingent 4 weeks before the conference.

Students can apply for travel grants up to 150,- €, if they are the first Author of the paper and actively present it at the conference. An informal application, stating the title of the poster or presentation, should be submitted to the conference organizers (dgg2026@uni-muenster.de) by January, 05. 2026.

For the annual conference, free professional childcare will be provided. Please register as early as possible (not later than 05.01.2026) at dgg2026.kinder@uni-muenster.de.

Free WLAN access will be permanently available during the DGG conference. Two connection options will be provided:

1. The University of Münster is a member of the worldwide university eduroam network. Anyone with eduroam access at their home institution can connect to the internet using their normal user credentials. This is the easiest and preferred option.
   
2. For all others (or if there are login problems), the University of Münster provides guest accesses via the "GuestOnCampus" Wi-Fi network.

Dining options include the "Mensa am Ring", "Il Gondoliere", "Buddha Palace", "Bäckerei Krimphove", and "King Kebab". All within walking distance of the conference venue.

Free bus tickets will be provided to participants.

For cars, the parking garage "P+R Coesfelder Kreuz", Domagkstraße 62, is available.

The free conference program (without abstracts) will be handed out in printed form at the conference office upon registration. All abstracts are available on the conference website.
